The Ultimate Travel Hack is a campaign for Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), developed by VML and produced by Toast Films for the Japanese market.
Directed by acclaimed Japanese director Hisashi Eto, the film showcases Dubai as a uniquely diverse destination where multiple cultures can be experienced in one journey — positioning the city as the ultimate travel shortcut for Japanese audiences with limited holiday time.
The story opens in Tokyo before seamlessly transporting viewers to Dubai through a series of cinematic transitions, brought to life with CGI and visual effects. The cast features Japanese actors and public figures Nozomi Bando and Satoshi Mitsu, alongside British actor Keith Dallison, who performs his role in Japanese.
Toast Films delivered full production across film, photography, and post-production, with a strong focus on cultural authenticity throughout.
